Removing torque converter after engine separated from tranny 700 1990

'90 740 GL w/auto trans. I have the engine+trans out of the car on the floor. I pulled the tranny away from the engine and the torque converter stayed with the engine. How do I get the torque converter off so I can access the flywheel bolts? I've tried prying lightly with a screw driver, kicking it with my foot, and shaking it up and down (it doesn't give).

I found this post:

"Make yourself aware of the procedure for removing the flywheel/flexplate from the torque converter. The 4(?) bolts around the perimeter are removed one at a time and the flywheel is rotated by hand to get to each bolt in turn. When replacing the transmission the torque converter is installed on the transmission shaft before lifting and aligning the transmission with the engine. Turn the torque converter slowly on the shaft until it fits back where it is supposed to go on the shaft. You will feel it slip into place. Don't allow the torque converter to fall out or slide forward off of its position while replacing the transmission.

Alignment can be difficult in mating up the engine and transmission. Once you have it as far forward as you can get it without it slipping in do not hesitate to grasp the rear of the transmission and rotate it while applying forward effort. You need to push it into place- resist the temptation to use the mount ing bolts to pull it into place."

I thought I saw one of these bolts looking through the starter motor hole. It would barely be accessible with a wrench, if at all. Am I going to have a problem because the engine is seized and I cannot turn the crankshaft more than 1/4 turn?

Thanks,
Nathan
