AC Compressor can't make up its mind. 200

When driving (though not while idling), the compressor clutch on my '93 240 engages and then disengages every couple of seconds. The air coming out is cold, the compressor just can't seem to make up its mind whether to stay on or off. Could this be a low pressure switch problem, or a pressure leak of some sort?
