Last May I purchased one of the many car covers that are advertised on Ebay that are made to fit Volvo 122's. I bought it from a company called Car Craft. At first I was very pleased, I thought it was a good fit.
During the 3 months I have owned it I used it sparingly, but last week I was on vacation, and left it on the car for the whole week.
When I returned, I attempted to remove the cover, and it simply disintigrated into dust. The sides were ok, but all the areas exposed to direct sunlight were destroyed. It appears to be made of some paper product that worked good new, but quickly broke down when exposed to the hot summer sun.
I admit I only paid $37.50 (including shipping) for it. I once again have learned, the hard way, that you get what you pay for.
I recommend that you only purchase car-covers that were manufactured by well known companies.
