Hey guys, I've had the brakes done on my 940 (rotors, pads & pins) done 3 times in the last 2 years, the last time with all Genuine Volvo parts, and now the rotors are warped once again. I'm properly torquing the wheel lug nuts.
I noticed the first time I did them that one of the guide pins was rusty, and so the caliper was sticking. I replaced the pins but couldn't figure out how to burnish the inside of the tube that the rusty pin goes into (inside the outer part of the caliper). Can I buy just the outside of the caliper? How do I burnish the inside of this tube (ie, what tool does the job)?
I have to do the brakes soon, and am suspecting the shop (who did them on Dec. 23, 2004, -25 degrees Celcius) replaced the pins as I'd done previously, but didn't burnish the inside of the tube so it's stuck again.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris
