Ye gods, this has turned into an odyssey. Coupla weeks ago I reported that the compact spare 'donut' had self-destructed. Replacing that spare would cost well over a c-note - no thanks!

So for 2 weeks I've been calling and visiting local boneyards for a 14" or 15" steel wheel so I can slap a cheap tire on it and stow it in the spare tire bay. The only wheel I've found to date is for FWD models, with the wrong offset. I never would have guessed these are so rare in the desert! I refuse to pay $75 for a new steel wheel... any Bricksters in the Phoenix area have an extra wheel to sell me?
