Volvo CR-814 to Alpine CHA-S634 900

I'm looking to add an Alpine CD changer to my existing Volvo head unit (CR-814) in my '94 940T. Has anyone had experience with the CHA-S634? As I understand it, the changer is ai-net but has a switch to be compatible with m-bus. Does the MP3 playback work correctly (obviously no song or album titles)? The only adapters I need are the volvo to m-bus and the m-bus to ai-net, correct?
