I just replaced my rms last week, cleaned flame trap / pcv system a month ago, initially oil leak slowed/stopped but then came back twice as bad. Started to leak like 1 drop a day (I'm selling the car and wanted NO LEAKS). After being told by 2 mechanics and 2 "service advisors" all at the same time (The Volvo Store , Volvo dealer in Winter Park FL) they insisted there was NO WAY oil could leak around the flywheel bolts WRONG they are drilled all the way through crank flange! All bolts were covered in oil and seal side of flywheel was dry. I removed old/new seal and replaced with volvo seal and used hylomar sealant (or use loctite) on flywheel bolts. I made a transmission jack adapter that bolts to my floor jack, no need to remove starter! tranny lines were froze on trans, I removed them at radiator as there's enough room to lower trans and move backwards to replace seal use a good quality t40 torx bit on torque conveter bolt - access through small plate on exaust side, used a 11/16 flare nut wrench on tranny line tried to use 17mm from Autozone but they are too cheap I could feel it the jaws opening up!. I'm starting to get real good at it!
