940 Turbo sounds like a diesel 900 1991

Hi all,

My 1991 940 Turbo with 160,000+ miles on it sounds like a deisel, how much longer do I have left before it explodes? It quiets down when warmed up or cruising but at an idle it makes some noise. If it were a Chevy I'd be diggin a grave by now.
