Rear axle identification-Can someone translate casting number??? 700

I need to replace the pinion seal on the wife's 740 Turbo. Been leaking for a while. I understand the torque differences between the two different axle styles, but I can identify which one I have. The plastic tag which holds the secrete is gone. Any ideas how to identify if it has a crush spacer or not?
The cast number on the axle is 1023597, the stamped number on the diff cover is 1023610.
