92 240 Runs Bad When Weather Is Hot 200 1992

I have a 92 240 with 130,000 miles. The car usually runs great.

Whenever the weather is hot (85 or above) the car runs sluggish. Yes, I do try turning the AC off, it makes no difference.

Also, the temperature guage seems to run hot. I replaced the thermostat, the coolant is always at a normal level, and it looses some heat if I turn the AC off.

Also, I do keep the gas tank at least half full, so I would not suspect vapor lock.

If anyone has any tips, I would really appreciate it.
