1988-89 740 8 valve non turbo vs 1992 740 8 valve non turbo pro/cons? Please help!!!

Hello folks!

I have a 1988 435,000 miles 1989 420,000 miles and I just picked up a 1992 740 gle 8 valve non turbo with 320,000 miles (AW-70 A.T.)! All of this is original mileage (no engine/trans replacements)What improvements did volvo make between 88-92 on their 740 series wagons? Again all of these are 8 valve and non-turbo s.w. My 92 has ABS brakes and an air bag. Do they make the large headlamp lens covers in glass, or is it just plastic replacements? What say you? Please all comments/experiences are welcomed!
