Hi,

Posting a reply about one of the individual cluster wires just now reminded me of something that could be troublesome in a manual-to-auto conversion.

This might not affect yours, if you plan to dremel out the solenoid and dispense with the OD relay and harness, but if you decide to move that over too, there's a connector under the glove box that selects auto or manual. If the wiring is left configured for manual and an OD relay is installed, damage to the ECU can result. The violet wire from ECU-26 should only be connected for M-47 (upshift light). The manual is not clear about this anyplace I can find.
