MAJOR OIL CHANGE PROBLEM 200 1989

i started to change my oil on my 89 240dl three days ago. i'm still trying to get the damn filter off. the car is not on ramps, i've bent an oil wrench so far, and can't seem to find the space or right angle to put a screwdriver through it and have enough lever to unscrew it that way.

any recommendations on tools, techniques would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
