Emergency brake job this weekend, any advice to make this go smoooooth? 200

I've got an 86 240 sedan with 185000.
I'm doing a rear brake job -rotors, new calipers, and e brake pad/ hardware and cables.
Anyone have any advice on the ebrake part. I've got a Bentley manual and plan on following
for instruction.
Any additional advice would be great.
