Anyone know why a AW70 tranny on a '87 244GL would not engage?
Following checks out:
Shift linkage is engaging shifter on tranny
Fluid levels are good

no matter the gear selected car does not move, not even lurch. Driveline never spins, motor sounds good, has to something mechanically inside the tranny correct? any thoughts?
