The quick and dirty security system 900

Last Sunday night around 10pm a mint 780 was stolen in my neighborhood. There is not a lot of Volvos in this neighborhood so I freaked out. For the first few night I just pulled fuses out of the car. Easy enough but I need a more permanent solution. Tonight I added a hidden kill switch to my 960 by splicing the wire the the 85 terminal in the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay activates both pumps and the injectors. No fuel = no go. You might ask "who would want to steal an old Volvo?" I don't know but if I find out who broke into my GFs 240 on thanksgiving last year, its curtains I tell you curtains! The 240 already had a kill switch. I'm sure others have built in their own security features. This would be a good time you share your wisdom. Consider this a friendly reminder that OLD VOLVOS GET STOLEN!

Relay "B" controls the fuel pump. The relay board is accessible through center console kick paned on the passenger side. The wires to the relay are on the driver side of the center console. The wire is brown with pink stripe.

The relay looks like this.
