No spark Fuel pump relay does not energize 700

My 1988 b230 740 was running fine drove 150 miles turned it off. 2 hours later it would not start. I could not hear the fuel pump. I checked the fp relay foward coil energizes with ignition rear coil does not. Tank pump inop changed pump. Rear coil still does not energize. If I manually close rear coil both pumps operate but I have no spark. Any ideas?
