My co-worker just informed me that one of her neighbor died yesterday afternoon when the car he was working under fell on him. Please use appropriate size jack and jack stands when working underneath your car.
PS. She went out for run and saw him working under the car. When she came back, she noticed the was not moving us much as before but gave it no second thought. Later that evening she heard ambulance and police cars in the parking lot and found out that the car had fallen on him and suffocated him.
PS2. I changed the oil and oil filter on my car (91 -745T) this past Saturday, without the use of any jacks or jack stand. I was skinny enough to fit under the car without lifting the car. I won't be doing this anymore. If one of the front tire had lost air, I would have been stuck underneath or even killed. I usually use the ramp stands with changing the oil, but I left them at my inlaws house. I will picking these up ASAP.
