Successful road trip!! (kinda) 700 1990

Just got back from a 6200km road trip and the old girl ran like a top. I had only one issue though and that is a collapsed lumbar support in the drivers seat. It seems as though the adjustment knob on the side has broken away from the inner mechanics all together. I had a quick look but can't see how to get in there. Anyone ever had a seat apart before??
