My muffler hits speed bumps when i drive, i dont know if my volvo is riding lower or its actually the muffler.

The muffler came out of its sleeve pipe, because the U bracket that was holding it had scraped against the ground so many times that it just broke off.
I bought a new U bracket thing, and it still scrapes from time to time.

My question is, is there anything i can do to stop the scraping?
do i need to wheld something back in place??



Any help would be great.
