Ok, you may have followed my first post ( http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo-996931.html )-- been looking for a 240 wagon for the family.

I found a 1993 Wagon, grey with black leather interior. Third seat option, auto, roof rack (thule), heated seats, winter plug in, good condition (drivers seat splitting @ seam- no holes however). The car has 172K and this owner has had it since 1995 & 10K miles. It also has a tow hitch and transmission cooler. The following maintenance was done recently:

Front brakes: 6/04 167k
Rear brakes: 12/03 163K
Muffler: 05/01 110K
other muffer: 09/02 125K
Recent tune + battery
TIming Belt 03/01 107K
Trans service 07/02 134K
shocks: 10/02 137K
Rear engine seal 10/03 161K

I have not seen the car yet, however he assures it is good inside and out- He also gave the number of his mechanic to contact (volvo specialist)

He is asking $2900 and assuming the wagon is as advertised, I think he has a deal. How does it sound?
