My son's 91 240 with automatic transmission only gets 24 MPG on the freeway. The car runs fine and no OBD error code was detected. The only thing I noticed is that its engine starts in slow rpm in the morning. On the contrary, my own 86 245 always starts with a high rpm then idles to slow rpm. Are the poor gas milrage and slow staring rpm related?
