Pay close attention to the jet assemblies on HS6 SUs, they can stick down after using the choke when they get old & this can eat a bunch of fuel. After twiddling with the mixture nuts, try pushing the jet assembly up. Also, after using the choke, push it in & then get out & see if you can push the jet assembly up.
