Have you ever refurbished your fuse box? That is one of the main causes
of the amp light glowing.
The fact that the amp light glows does not necessarily mean that the blower
is drawing too much current. See if it is working OK and if the motor is
getting unusually hot or not. Bearings get either worn or gummed up, brushes
and commutators need attention, etc. If you keep those two things in shape,
the motor can last forever.
