back-fire when cold 200

I'm inclined to agree, although a KJet volvo should just fire right up and go, it's got enough complicated plumbing to ensure that. Of you're going to put yourself through the annoyance of getting the Control pressure right, diagnosing the thermal-time switch, aux air valve and all the rest, you're entitled to have an engine that just fires right up.
