You and I have identical beasts as far as I know. The dual-circuit deal is non-stock, I suspect. We do not have the pump-and-pump-again issue you describe. I should probably bleed my system since I have not in the nearly two years I have owned the car. I am sure that as soon as I touch the thing they will never work properly again.
I would be curious to hear some suggestions on the proper way to adjust the rear drums. I have the square-head adjuster screw so I guess I have Girlings.
