Of course, with a 240, you can read the Bentley manual! :-)

What kind of price is the car that you are looking at? While 740's are great solid cars, they (sedans especially) are not super hot vehicles on the used market, which means you should be able to get a pretty nice one for not a lot of money. I've seen solid daily-drivers *given* away.

Look at a few before you commit to one.
