122 Windshield Seal Replacement 120-130 1966

I'm a newbie here. I just was "handed-down" my father-in-law's 1966 122 that he purchased new. The car is in decent shape for it's age. However, there is one persistant issue I need to address. It seems that the windshield seal isn't sealing. Water is leaking into the car at the bottom of seal on the passenger side. I can order a replacement seal from IPD, but am a bit reclucant to proceed. If I break the windshield in the removal or installation where do I buy a replacement? Any tips on installation and glass suppliers would be greatly appreciated.
