Hey all who helped me out...I fixed the beast. On Saturday, I took apart the entire intake track upto the manifold. Found the accordian tube had some nice holes in it (replaced it), cleaned the TB, and put in a different AMM just because I have spares. I also replaced the #2 injector with another one I had sitting around. The injector that was in there was one I swapped in a few years ago when things were having problems. It was all gunked up and I'm quite sure that was really causing the problem. So now it feels like a 21 year old engine again rather than an 80 year old engine. Much more power, and no surging. Haven't had to fill up gas since, but I'm willing to bet my mileage will be much better!
Thanks to all who helped me with ideas.
Nate
