Is it really that easy to replace a fender? 900

Dear Philip,

Hope this finds you well. I'd add to rhaire's advice, that where you drill out the tack welds, at least prime paint the edges of the holes. This stops rust from getting a foothold. Any good quality primer will do.

You can then use pop rivets to replace the tack welds. This will avoid vibration, etc.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

spook
