Best possible MPG for automatic??? 120-130 1966

Hello,
I'm new on here, have been lurking for a while trying to learn a few things. I have a 1966 4dr 122S automatic. I am just wondering what the best case scenario would be for gas mileage. Most of my driving so far has been in city driving, and I am averaging about 14mpg, is this par for the course or is there something I could be doing to improve my mileage, other than converting to a standard? ( not an option for me) I know there are some other threads talking about gas mileage but they all seem to be referring to standard transmission and I know I should expect less with an automatic, just wondering how much less...
Oh yeah, its a B18 engine also.
