After they put the UV dye in, did they have you come back in a week or so to check for the leak? They should have done this if it's a very slow leak, it will take time to show up. The first thing I would do is have someone check with a UV light. It might be an easy fix.

I assume the compressor is cycling quickly or not coming on at all.
