I was just reading a car magazine (no surprise). A reader wrote in about his vintage domestic car with a non SU carburetor. He stated that heat would force some gas out near the float and asked about fitting a heat shield below the carburetor. When I saw the gas seeping it was 85 to 90 degrees. Could this be the problem?
