Some people will probably respond with various tips on how to bleed the ABS system, and I'm sure those tips worked for them. But I have had a soft brake pedal for years and I have never been able to firm it up significantly. I have put about 5 gallons of fluid through the system in a dozen bleeding attempts (vacuum, gravity, pressure), tried all the tips and ticks, changed master cylinder, all calipers and hoses, and I still have been unable to firm the pedal to my liking.
