Please register on BB and post a pic of your set up. As said, it won't work but there are a few ingenious work arounds to suit. Having a push type hydraulic sytem worka pull type, cable, clutch is possible. I can't think where you're having clearance problems as there is quite a bit of space around the clutch arm area.
There's a few ideas on this thread.
Pull type slave for B20 instead of cable.
