Check Engine Light from Wrong Gas 200

Hello,


You should check the codes instead of trying to guess what happened.

No, the octane content would not set a lamp.

Water in the gas, or low quality gas with too low of an energy density could set the lamp.

Check the odb1 code as specified in the FAQ.
