It is worth a nickle.

I was a wimp at wanting to smack my engine way under there and watch out for the fan. I'm sure it works some way or another. AC/DC!

I think it is buried down there because it is a low maintenance item.

Good information for checking the vise, to see if it rings solid or not. Kidding.

In his case it would not explain the bad gas mileage that I was after.
