Thanks for getting back, I will try your suggestions and see what the actual temperature is.. I had removed the thermostat and the car ran cold all the time.. I put a new 180 degree one in that looked like it would allow move water flow and it seemed to run a little cooler but not between the dots.. I might try a 170 degree thermostat next time..
