steering question 700 1989

Just clicked over 230,000 miles in my 89 745 and now when I am pulling in at work it groans and makes noise when I am doing some parking lot tight turns. It also seems real tight to right into my street. I have not been able to tell if it is only when I turn right but I know it gets tight and almost seems like it has lost all of it power steering.

I have checked the fluid and seems okay on the little dipstick.

Any advice?
