Fuel sender ohm range 140-160 1971

Thanks for the input guys! I actually managed to 'hack' a sunpro sender to fit in the 164 tank to the old factory sender. I even used the old float. I'm going to post some photos soon in case anyone else was curious about doing the conversion. My fuel gauge has never worked and I got tired of fussing with the instrument panel so I just decided to put in some (more accurate) aftermarket gauges. The range on the Sunpro is 33ohms (full) to 240ohms(empty) I believe. On visual inspection of my tank it appeared to be about half full and the ohm reading was 90ohms. I'll know for sure when I do a fillup.
