Hi B.C In your post your indicated "Serpentine belt failure can lead to timing belt failure," on the V90 engine.

Can you educate me how the breakage of the serp belt can effect the timing belt. I just re-built my 1998 S90 due to a timing belt breakage (really the guide bearing failed).

How is the serp belt related to the timing belt in respect to a failure of the serp belt and then eventual failure of the timing belt.
