I had some Pirellis on my old 120 4 dr...those were about the best handling tires I have had on a 120. I've had good luck with Michelins as well. Remember to check the build date on new tires.....the age fast if never used. The 185 really slow steer way worse than 165, I'm running 185 right now and for the 1st time am considering power steering.....I may look into the electric assist system some of the new compacts use.
