I found my shop vac hose fits tightly on the tailpipe. Makes it easy to find exhaust leaks. I suppose you could remove the #3 plug and rotate the crank/cam to make sure there's a clear path past the exhaust valve. I used the vac in blowtion mode, as I'm always thinking someone will deny the insurance claim if I hurt myself exploding fuel fumes in the shop vac.
