Thanks to all of you for your excellent comments. The car has a B16 & appears to be original in all aspects, including original paint which has its advantages & disadvantages. I want to look & drive the car before committing. Was an article in a recent Rolling about a '60 544A with a B16 & the owner appears to be happy with it. I'm retired & just want something to tool around Fla. not breaking any speed records. My first Volvo was a '57 444 so I know what I'm getting into; but that was back in 1962!
