Buying anyone's half-finished project is a risk. Not saying do not do it, but sink no more money into it than you can afford to lose until you or a machinist has checked their work AND the items they did not work on. Who's to say the reason it is unfinished is because they found a fatal flaw in the motor after invest time and money in it?
