Hello All,

Alt conversion is underway, I just had question about the Voltage Regulator...
The green book list wire 1: alternator field DF 2:ground lead #: alternator B+ and 4:battery So what are the two wires on the back? Is one for the wiper? Where is this stuff going to if I take out the regulator?

Thanks to matt b for a straightforward explanation of the alt wiring- I'mm just missing something.... Electrics are not my thing, but I'm sure I can do it with a better understanding of the details.
