'93 vent switch not functioning 900 1993

About to purchase a decent 960 with all the mechanicals in order. the only problem is the interior is pretty used up. the auto seat switches dont work and the vent switch (not fan speed or temp switch) does not function.

is this a common issue (my 940 vents and fan speed fluctuate and stuff but still work) and is there any way to fix it?
