R&R OD trans 140-160 1971

The reason I am considering separating the two is to have shorter and lighter pieces to line up.
Same reason to remove the driveshaft- just to make the space to have the trans/OD unit be in proper alignment with the crank before positioning.
Thanks for the tip about putting the trans in 4th to make rotation of splines simple.
Working with car on stands, as opposed to a lift, so lots of wrangling the weight in small space.
Will go seek out think spanners too.
