Prop shaft bolts. Nuts are 1/2" AF and need an open spanner. Heads are 7/16" AF and need a thin ring. Use together. They aren't usually VERY tight but spanner fit is important. A small rubber mallet is a big help and one quick tap usually loosens them. As said, if they are a bit butchered anew set makes refitting them a lot easier. I can't see box spanners being any good.
