Good point. I also ride motorcycles and have learned to never leave anything of value in a position to tempt thieves. Everything is in locked saddlebags or on my person.

I also drive a '79 F100 short-wide p/u. When a unknowing passenger asks at a stop whether to lock the doors, I tell them to leave it unlocked as the most valuable asset in the cab is the glass I don't want to have to replace (said truck has stock '70s vintage AM radio and center-dash speaker inside).
